Integrative &  Holistic somatic therapy sessions

I offer in-person integrative somatic therapy and movement sessions in Marietta, Georgia for women and LGBTQIA+ folks working to heal anxiety, trauma, and chronic stress. This is personalized, deeply transformative support designed for clients ready to go deeper than talk therapy.

somatic therapy, parts work & Movement:

Have you ever wanted to go deeper than talk therapy?

Somatic therapy is a "bottom-up" approach that integrates work with your body and nervous system to help you heal from trauma and release chronic stress and anxiety. Yes, we process verbally, but somatic therapy goes deeper. We acknowledge that your experiences don't just live in your mind. They live in your body. They've shaped how your nervous system is wired, how you respond to stress, how you show up in relationships. In response to these experiences, especially trauma, different parts of you developed to protect you. You have protective parts that work hard to keep you safe in different ways. Some might show up as perfectionism, pushing you to achieve and control every outcome. Some might be reactive, quick to anger or defensiveness. Some scan for danger, keeping you on guard. You also have inner child parts, the younger, more vulnerable parts of you that hold the original pain, fear, and unmet needs. These protective parts developed to shield those wounded parts.

What makes this work truly transformative is integrating somatic awareness into parts work. We don't just talk about your parts. We notice them in your body. By working with your parts at a nervous system and body level, we work to reshape nervous system patterns. Your body learns that it's safe. Your protective parts soften their grip. Your inner child parts finally feel held. Through parts work, we recognize all of these aspects of yourself, honor what they've been trying to do for you, help your inner child parts feel safe and heard, and support your protective parts in evolving so they can protect you in ways that no longer cause you harm.

This is healing as a whole: mind, body, and spirit. By combining somatic therapy and parts work with breathwork, guided movement, yoga poses, imagery, and body awareness, we create an integrated approach that goes beyond talking. Together, we tune into your posture and nervous system patterns, find the emotions that feel stuck in your body, and help your nervous system process and release what it's been holding. We work with all the parts of you, helping them come back together so you can feel more integrated and whole.

A Holistic Approach

My approach honors you as a complete person. Holistic healing means we don't just work with your thoughts or your body in isolation. We recognize that your mind, body, and spirit are deeply interconnected. Trauma and stress live in all three. So does healing.

This means we're not just processing emotions. We're listening to what your body is telling us. We're creating space for spiritual exploration if that's part of your journey. We're treating you as a whole person with a unique story, unique needs, and unique wisdom within you. Every part of you matters. Every part of you deserves to be honored in this work.
